Review for Final 2009

Unfortunately there were some technical difficulties involved in putting up the review materials for the final. I persevered though and it should now be working. Bonne et Belle Assez

Today you will be creating a family crest/logo. Your family crest will have a variety of colors in it and you will be describing the colors involved.

So, let's get to work.







Criteria - Your family crest must contain the following to receive full credit:


1)
An animal of some kind
2) An item of some kind with the animal
3) A motto of some kind ( ex. Loyalty Above All Else, or Yo' Mama)
4) 6 different colors (besides White and Black) between the animal, item, background, and motto
5) All original work (no images lifted from the web)

Keep track of the colors that you use. Use the following website to help you name and identify the colors:

On a separate sheet of paper hand in a list of the colors used in your family crest/logo. For each color list 2 things:
1) The name of the color
2) Which primary colors (R,B,G) are absorbed by that color
3) Which primary colors are reflected by that color


When you're done, save your picture to stufiles using your two first names squashed together as one big last name with an "and" in the middle (ex. DerekandFrederic)

MYOQ - PSSA Question Writing

Your mission over the course of Wednesday and Thursday will be to create your very own PSSA style question. Our focus over the last 8 days has been on PSSA multiple choice and open ended questions, so you're all now experts.

As our assessment for this portion of our curriculum you and a partner will create a PSSA style question that incorporates the following elements:


1) A graph that shows data.

2) 4 Multiple Choice questions based on the graph.

3) 1 Open ended question that focuses on summarizing the results of the experiment.

Technical Details


  • this project will be written in microsoft word
  • save to your stu files (instructions below) and name it the two last names of you and your partner squashed together to make one name. ex. Sprayberry + Rosenberger = Sprayberger or Rosenberry
  • To save to stu files:
