Living in Space

In your notebooks, on a blank page, put today's date and the following title:

"Living in Space"

Now go to http://www.nasa.gov/, click on Shuttle and Station, and then click on Space Station Section in the middle.

Answer the following two questions in your NB:
1) List the people on the ISS (International Space Station) right now and where they are from
2) What part of the world is the ISS over right now?

Now click on "Behind the Scenes" and answer the next 2 questions.
3) What are some examples of food that the Astronauts are eating in space?
4) What tools are Astronauts using to exercise in space?

Now follow the link below, read just the first page of the article there, and answer questions 5 and 6 when you have finished.

5) Give one method psychologists in Japan evaluate Astronaut candidates.
6) When crash dummies couldn't provide good enough data on Shuttle collisions what did the Orion team use instead?
